The Dance Center at MyGym Recital Information
The Dance Center at MyGym is excited to announce the 2025 Dance Center Performance of "DANCING THE DECADES". We are planning a wonderful performance that we hope everyone will enjoy!
All dancers enrolled in dance classes by January 5, 2025 will be eligible for this performance. Students enrolled after this date may still be eligible to perform in this year's recital depending on the status of the costume order. Otherwise, they are more than welcome to come observe and be eligible for next year’s recital!
Recital Information
Performance Dances
Performance dances will be taught during your child's regular class time. If necessary, extra rehearsals will be scheduled for some upper level dances.
Performance Fee (per student)
$175 - This fee includes 2 tickets, a professional group picture of your child's class, their costume and tights (which is yours to keep) and a bouquet of flowers for each family to present to their child on the day of the performance. This fee also helps to cover the cost of the theater rental, music recording & editing, rental of sound & lighting equipment, technicians, stagehands, props etc. A deposit of $87.50 (half the amount of the full fee) is due upon registration by January 5, 2025. All deposits and registration after January 5th will incur a $15 late fee per dancer. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Additional Costumes
Any child performing in more than one dance will have a $70.00 costume fee per additional costume.

Tickets
Each student will receive two tickets to the performance, which is included in the performance fee. Of course, performers do not need a ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased for $30.00 (per ticket) pre-sale starting on Monday, May 5, 2025 and will go up to $35.00 at the door so make sure to get your tickets early. This year we are limited on tickets so we will be charging for each observer including ages 5 years & under unless you are willing to have them sit on your lap. Individual Pictures & Video Link
Individual pictures are a great way for you to capture your child in their costumes on their own and will be taken at the dress rehearsal during their allotted time slot. Sign ups will be available as of April, 2025. Click here to get registered!
Tights
As this year we will be including tights in your package, you may purchase more in either pink or tan if you prefer to have extra. Click here to purchase your tights today!

This year we will be holding our recital at the location of:
LACES SCHOOL located at 5931 W. 18th St., Los Angeles, Ca 90035.
Dress Rehearsal/Show Day
The dress rehearsal will take place on Sunday, June 1st (1 hour allotted time slots per class) and the show will take place on Sunday, June 8th. More information on dress rehearsal and show day will be posted around March/April, 2025.
Volunteers
Volunteers help make The Dance Center performances special. There are many areas in which to volunteer - class moms, backstage volunteers, sewing committee etc. If you are interested in volunteering, please let Miss Anat know by contacting her directly.
Covid Guidelines
At this time, we are unsure about what the COVID-19 requirements (including masks) will be during the time of recital, but we will keep you updated as best as possible.
Continuing Dance Class
Regular dance classes will continue after the recital. Please do not assume that your account will be cancelled from classes once the recital is over. Summer is always the best time for your child to continue to improve and grow as a dancer, so we highly encourage them to continue dancing with us during that time.
